Peanuts in bags, peanuts in baskets. These ladies faces say that bringing in business to the Peanut Booth at the Elks Carnival was serious business. They became walking billboards calling attention to their merchandise. The head bands, spelling out “ELK?”, the necklaces, and the earrings are all made from gold painted peanuts!
Notice the lady on the left in the dark dress is wearing a carnival ribbon similar to Aloha Week ribbons.
